LectureBreak is a student developed resource, for students, dedicated to students. We aim to provide an integrated, online marketplace in which students from campuses all over the nation can buy, sell, and exchange textbooks. It doesn't stop there though: LectureBreak is also dedicated to providing students with the best resources, utilities, and information to make the most out of the college experience.

LectureBreak was conceived mid-2007 by a group of innovative and determined college students. After experiencing the dreadful, but all too routine, process of buying excessively priced books from the book store – only to find the overpriced book one bought held no resale value at the end of the quarter – we decided there had to be a better way. After months of brainstorming and extensive development, LectureBreak was born in 2008! With a robust marketplace system in place, we hope to alleviate college students from the pains of buying and selling textbooks.
